Download your preferred web browser
In case you don’t have your preferred browser already installed on your Mac, you first need to download it. Go to official webpage of your preferred web browser and locate the download page. From the download page, click on Download Now button to download the browser application on your computer.
Install your browser
Double-click the downloaded browser installer to begin the installation process of the browser. Follow all the on-screen prompts, to successfully install the browser. Click and drag the browser icon to the Application folder shortcut. Hold the Control key while clicking the DMG tab. Select the Eject option from the drop-down menu to close the tab.
Open system preferences
Click on the Apple logo located at the top-left corner of the screen to launch a drop-down menu. From the drop-down menu, locate the System Preferences option to launch the System Preferences window.
Select the default browser
In the System Preferences window, locate the General tab which must be located at the top-left corner. From here, you can change the browser.
